Alvaro Morata is in line to make his first start against Inter Milan

Alvaro Morata will be handed his first Chelsea start in the friendly against Inter Milan                                                           Antonio Conte is ready to hand Alvaro Morata a first start for chelsea since his £70.6million move, and the Spaniard was put through his paces ahead of the clash against Inter Milan on Saturday.
The Blues carried out a rigorous session out on the practice pitch before time spent in the gym at their training headquarters in Singapore, and Conte will expect a stiff test after the Italians beat Bayern Munich 2-0 on Thursday.Morata was a second-half substitute in the 3-2 defeat by Bayern on Tuesday, but he is expected to start his first game of pre-season at the National Stadium as he bids to build up his fitness ahead of the new campaign.Michy
Batshuayi has been the standout performer during pre-season for Chelsea with five goals, so Morata knows he must hit the ground running in order to make a starting place his own.
Conte has revealed that it will be another few weeks before fellow new signing Tiemoue Bakayoko is ready to make his bow following keyhole knee surgery at the end of last season.
'We hope for them to recover very well,' said Conte. 'You know the importance of these players but we will not rush them back.
'Every player must be in the best form to play otherwise they are put in a bad position which could be damaging for the team.'
Conte also admitted he expects it to be some time before his new recruits get to grips with his style of football, although Morata said he believed it was his 'destiny' to work with the Italian having missed each other at Juventus.
The Spain international was in relaxed mood as he joined his new team-mates for a series of drills outside before strength conditioning indoors as Chelsea stepped up their pre-season preparations.
