The midfielder passed a medical on Thursday afternoon and the paperwork has now been completed with United confirming that Fellaini has left with a post on social media.
The Belgium international is due to earn £235,000 per week and will hook up with his new team-mates later this month to join in their preparations for the new Chinese Super League campaign which gets underway in March. Fellaini had been in Belgium this week receiving treatment on a calf injury but flew out to China on deadline day to agree terms with Shandong.

After the 1-1 draw, Manchester City defender Kyle Walker sent a mocking tweet
Jurgen Klopp has defended himself against accusations that Liverpool acted in an unsporting way against Leicester.
During half-time of Wednesday night's 1-1 draw at Anfield, Liverpool's groundstaff cleared ice and snow — but only from the Kop End penalty area which Klopp's men attacked in the second half.
Manchester City fans picked up on this but Liverpool manager Klopp insisted: 'There was no plan. Nobody told them, I can swear, to clear only our side or our box.'Walker deleted the tweet within 30 minutes but it had already been viewed thousands of times. City manager Pep Guardiola refused to condemn his player. Klopp did not criticise Walker either but was at a loss as to understand why he — or anyone — would do something to taunt a rival.

Arsenal set to seal loan deal for Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez with £20m option to buy in summer
Barcelona had wanted to cash in on Suarez this month in a £17m deal to Sevilla or Real Betis as his contract expires in 18 months time but Suarez refused to join those clubs due to his desire to return to English football. Arsenal's hopes of signing Suarez this month appeared to be dwindling as the club do not have the financial means to commit to signing Suarez in January but the move was revived when the midfielder's agent suggested a £1.8m loan fee and then a summer option in excess of £20m to make the move permanent.
