Manchester United 'told that even bid of £65m won't be enough to convince Inter to part with Milan Skriniar'

                                                                                         The Slovakian international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford this season with Jose Mourinho crying out for defensive recruits.

However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, they will need to stump up a significant amount, with the Italian paper reporting that not even a bid of around £65m would convince the Serie A side to sell.  Inter are in talks over extending the 23-year-old's contract but they have yet to reach any agreement, putting United, and rivals Manchester City, on red alert.

Mourinho has made no secret of his desire to firm up his defensive options this season.

He watched his United fall to defeat against Juventus on Tuesday, who could boast Giorgio Chiellini and United's summer target Leonardo Bonucci in their backline.
