Unai Emery Praises Arsene Wenger's       Legacy in First Comments as        Arsenal Manager                                                 New Arsenal manager Unai Emery poses with the club's home shirt at the Emirates Stadium                                                                    Newly appointed Arsenal manager Unai Emery has thanked previous boss Arsene Wenger for the legacy that he left with the Gunners during his 22-year reign in north London. The Spaniard's position with the Premier League giants was officially announced on Wednesday morning, and Emery has explained his decision to come to the Premier League.
For a while, it was expected that Mikel Arteta would take the reigns at the Emirates Stadium, but Monday evening saw Emery become the front-runner, and two days later, he's the new Arsenal boss. Emery addressed his new set of fans.

Mohammed Salah Ahead of                          Champions League Final                                                                             Liverpool prepare for the Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday.
Salah joined Premier League side Chelse in 2014 but failed to make an impression before he left for Roma in August of the following year. When Salah returned to the Premier League last summer nobody expected him to have the impact that he has had, and his 32 goals in the Premier League last season shocked the footballing world. Salah has won a host of individual accolades, but a possible Champions League victory will be by far the biggest accomplishment of his career.

Arsenal 1-1 Chelsea (4-1 pens): Gunners win the Community Shield on penalties

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger waves to the crowd after wining his first major match since signing a new contract                                            Arsenal waited to collect the Community Shield at Wembley, Antonio Conte wandered about, arms folded and head down, with the look of a very bemused man.Conte pondered all this and doubtless much more, Arsenal collected the season’s first piece of silverware. Arsene Wenger’s team came from behind to draw and then won the strange penalty competition that followed by four goals to one. It wasn’t the fact that Chelsea lost the shoot-out that really mattered, it was the manner in which they lost it.Conte and his team did care, of course, and you only had to observe Morata afterwards – standing disconsolately with his water bottle – to know that, but Conte’s Chelsea has not always appeared a terribly settled place during the weeks of summer and nothing that happened yesterday changed that.
For a while during the actual game, Chelsea had exerted a semblance of control.

Pep Guardiola’s true vision for Manchester City has never been relayed in public. Not at the lavish ceremony before hundreds of supporters last summer, his proper unveiling weeks later, or countless press conferences since.

Pep Guardiola’s true vision for Manchester City has become clearer this summer                                                  Pep Guardiola’s true vision for Manchester City has never been relayed in public. Not at the lavish ceremony before hundreds of supporters last summer, his proper unveiling weeks later, or countless press conferences since.
The suits are worn smarter and smiles wider for Guardiola’s mere presence at City, his appointment seen as a triumph by the hierarchy, but they have remained coy of his intentions. Now, amid one of the largest overhauls in football history, they are unavoidable.
Privately they were laid bare in the months preceding his arrival, however, as Guardiola and sporting director, his old friend from Barcelona Txiki Begiristain, started devising plans for domestic and continental domination. Guardiola had studied the squad in depth, surmising that it dripped with quality but was ultimately too old, and felt he could take them no further.
He asked Begiristain - the man who signed the vast majority - for a completely new squad. A proper overhaul. Age was an issue and City needed to start again.
The surprisingly defiant answer was no, stars who had achieved so much at the Etihad Stadium must be phased out and not all go at once. Firstly because of the upheaval it would prompt and secondly the financial implications were too great. It also flies against the suggestion by senior club sources in March last year that Guardiola was enthused about the squad he was inheriting from Manuel Pellegrini.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho to be reunited with Nemanja Matic as Chelsea midfielder nears £40m move to Old Trafford

Jose Mourinho had targeted at least four signings this summer, including his former charge                                                         Chelsea have consented to allow the 28-year-old to join their Premier League rivals but manager Antonio Conte ideally wants to bring in another midfielder before the transfer is signed off.
Matic was left behind from Chelsea’s pre-season tour to the Far East and made it clear that he wished to leave the club.Though Juventus expressed interest, they were unwilling to match the financial package plus the length of contract that Matic sought. Instead, he will be reunited with former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, who tried to sign Matic last season.
Mourinho had targeted at least four signings this summer, though accepts he may have to be satisfied with three following the arrivals of Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku.Manchester United will look to complete the £40million transfer of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea next week.

Arsene Wenger insists 'nothing has changed' with regard to Alexis Sanchez

Arsenal doctors have visited Alexis Sanchez and have confirmed that he has flu, easing the fears of fans who saw the Chilean's Instagram post advertising his illness as a ruse.
Boss Arsene Wenger will let the Chilean return to training late and once again insisted that he will not be leaving the Emirates this summer.

Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez uploaded a photograph alongside his dog with the caption: 'Sick'
The Chilean striker, 28, posted a picture on social media (right) looking miserable alongside his dog, saying, 'Sick' as he takes an extended break after the Confederations Cup.
Sanchez wants to play Champions League football but despite Manchester City's interest, Wenger has insisted that he will not be sold, despite having only a year left on his contract.
'There is no development in his future it is always the same. He is staying, of course,' he said.
