Salah has also made a donation of food to help people in his home village back in Egypt                                             Mohamed Salah has donated thousands of tons of food and fresh meat to help residents in his Egyptian home village during the coronavirus pandemic.
Salah sent the supplies to his home village of Nagrig, near the city of Basyoun in the north of the country, as well as advice on how to keep safe.
The footballer's father, Salah Ghaly, told the Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper that his son wishes the village health and safety, urging residents to avoid large gatherings. He added that the village has been sanitised and masks distributed to residents in a bid to combat the spread of the Covid-19 virus, which has caused 205 deaths in Egypt.

Salah's father added that two calves will be slaughtered and the meat taken to the people of Nagrig and surrounding villages.
The player himself has been training in lockdown, posting an Instagram clip of himself jogging on a treadmill on Saturday.
Salah, like all Premier League players, have been trying to maintain their fitness through personalised training plans ahead of an eventual return to action. At a meeting of the 20 clubs on Friday, the Premier League outlined a best-case scenario of resuming regular training on May 11 with matches restarting behind closed doors during the second week of June.
However, this is dependent on UK lockdown restrictions being lifted and the availability of widespread testing for the killer virus.
Liverpool are on brink of winning their first league championship in 25 years, sitting 25 points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table.
Salah has regularly helped the residents of his home village through his charitable foundation, donating money to local hospitals and funding the construction of a sewage treatment plant to ensure clean drinking water.
