The forward was accompanied by members of his family and a huge security presence on Monday evening as he made his much awaited return to Italy.
The Portuguese star had planned to return a day earlier but his £30million private jet was unable to take off in Spain due travel restrictions put in place because of coronavirus.  But he and his family were finally able to board the G650 Gulfstream  in Madeira before enjoying a direct flight back to Turin.

His plane had attempted to take off three times the previous day but it was unable to leave the city to pick up the 35-year-old.
Juventus have called all of their stars back after the Italian government approved clubs returning to training. Sassuolo were the first Serie A side to resume sessions followed by Bologna, Parma and Roma.
Ronaldo we be tested for coronavirus before he is permitted to begin training again, as will the rest of the Juve squad.
But the Portugal captain will first have to spend 14 days in quarantine, in-line with government laws.  Maurizio Sarri's side were top of the league before football was suspended in March, one point ahead of Lazio in second and nine clear of Inter Milan in third.
Serie A was the first European league to be brought to a halt but officials remain committed to completing the season.
France and Holland's top flights have already been cancelled with Paris Saint-Germain were crowned Ligue 1 champions while Ajax were denied the Eredivisie title.
