Cristiano Ronaldo leads Portugal training as the European champions prepare for Confederations Cup clash with Mexico                                                    Cristiano Ronaldo led his Portugal team-mates as they returned to the training ground to fine tune their preparation ahead of a Confederation Cup opening clash with Mexico.

The European champions will go head to head with El Tricolor on Sunday, in the group stages of the tournament at the Kazan Arena.
Ronaldo was the star of the show as usual as Fernando Santos' side took to training in Oeiras on the outskirts of Lisbon. Ronaldo has dropped one place from fourth in 2017 but iconic No 7's earnings of £73.2million supersede his footballing contemporaries.
The forward's income is heavily boosted by the contract extension he signed with Real last November.
The 32-year-old penned a £365,000-a-week deal at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2021. That wage totals a staggering salary of £19m per year post-tax.
In addition, Ronaldo has a lifetime deal with Nike worth upward of £790m while his growing line of CR7 branded products now include underwear, fragrance, jeans and a line of hotels.                                                                                                                                                     Ricardo Quaresma shares a joke with his team-mate during the warm-up                                                                     The team were put through their paces with a variety of fitness-based drills, before launching into possession games and short matches.
Ronaldo will take to the pitch for just the second time since his Champions League heroics with Real Madrid in Cardiff.
